Over 30 years ago, Nikema Tripp's father ran a mobile bus ministry for the Woodland Baptist Church, serving the poorest sections of his community. Three years ago, Nikema, an electrician, decided to pick up where his father left off. With the support of his wife Tamara, a teacher's aide, the Tripps act as "extra parents" to almost 100 children, planning activities and taking them to experience new things on the ministry's Big Blue Bus. The Tripps, who have three small children and fund church activities out of their own pocket, have been barely able to make ends meet in their tiny, 900 sq. ft. house. Now they have a spacious new home, courtesy of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and United Rentals.
