Twelve years ago, Jesus and Maria Ruiz began building a new house for their growing family, then turned their efforts to feeding the poor in nearby Juarez, Mexico. Maria managed to run her charitable foundation from the family's half-finished house, where she assembled food, clothing and supplies to donate to the poorest parts of Juarez. Named one of the "Top 10 CNN Heroes of 2008," Maria and her family will now be able to continue their selfless work with a safe, new home and storage facility from "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," built with the help of United Rentals.
