Patrick Stephens joined United Rentals in 1998 upon the company's acquisition of Wynne Systems, where he served as director of new technology development. He subsequently held management positions within the information technology department and, in 2004, was named chief technology officer. Mr. Stephens has more than two decades of experience designing and implementing mission critical IT solutions for engineering, equipment rental and systems integration firms and has consulted extensively to the rental industry. He holds numerous certifications.
