Paul McDonnell brought more than a decade of construction industry experience to United Rentals when he joined the company as trench safety district manager in 1999. He was appointed to his current position as senior vice president - trench safety, pump and power in 2008, after serving three years as vice president-trench safety, pump and power. Prior to joining United Rentals, Mr. McDonnell was a construction project manager for Ryan Engineering, and general manager of D&E Steelplate Rental.
