Please don't call them co-workers
Just out of Cornell University, Naijia spotted a marketing assistant job posting online for a company he'd never heard of. The description looked interesting; a quick look on the Web confirmed that the company was a mover and shaker. Jump to three years later. "I'm working closely with customer service, sales, IT, and providing materials to the graphics group," says Naijia. "Every day is different, which is really great."
And he's happy that his education didn't end with college. "I enjoy the workshops, direct marketing conferences, and seminars. The workshops in Dallas on trench division marketing taught me what remarkable projects United Rentals participates in."
With his state-of-the-art marketing education, he expresses great excitement about how breaking technology is integral to United Rentals' business. "It's such cross-functional marketing, collaborating with customer service and sales." He is proud of his colleagues efforts for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and if not proud of the office's softball team's recent season, he's really proud to call his teammates friends.
